I've had chronic pain in my shoulder for the past six months. my orthopedic doctor took x-rays (negative) and physical therapy hasn't helped.

More eval.: See your physician back and determine if more imaging is in order (i.e. Mri). Sometimes it also may not be the shoulder where the pain is originating. History and physical examine can usually determine that. Best wishes.
