I've had tennis elbow for 8 months. tried rest, brace, oral steroids, cortisone shot, physical therapy and it feels worse. should i ask my regular doctor to refer me to an orthopedic doctor??

Informing : Your doc about your persistent symptoms is appropriate. He or she will be able to decide if an imaging study followed by a referral might be appropriate. You had the right treatments tried so far and your growing frustration is understandable, given lack of response to therapy.
