No easy answer!: Your symptoms are certainly not normal. We don't know anything about your health history or how long you have been having these symptoms. Your doc does (glad you are getting evaluated!), and since initial testing was normal, then further testing is indicated. A referral to specialist may be a good idea. Talk to your doctor about the next best step for sorting out what's going on. Best wishes!
