A member asked:

Im working where my hours are long and unsteady, i have difficulty staying asleep. i'll have short wake ups and go back to sleep sometimes 5a night?

Sleep: If possible recommend identifying a period when you can sleep consistently each day, preferably for 6 hours, including off days - consistency for onset/awakening is key for establishing good sleep patterns. A provider visit may be helpful for establishing a concurrent sleep aid. If the shifts vary (ie, night hours one day and day hours the next) achieving restful sleep becomes dificult.
