Asthma emergency : Clearly, medical attention is urgently needed and if you cannot drive yourself, you might need to go by ambulance. When inhalers do not work, there is danger of being unable to breathe. Controller inhalers and rescue inhalers are both important. If beyond them, you need oxygen and steroids, possibly antibiotic. TEA has theophylline which can help a little but is no substitute for real care. CALL.
