2 days ago i started using bronchodilator and corticosteroid inhalers as doctor suspects i may have asthma.last night after bronchodilator and today morning after corticosteroid i had severe cough attack.is it a reaction to medication and dangerous ?

Both bronchodilator and steroid inhalers may cause cough which is a known adverse effect. If your breathing is not impaired, i.e. no dyspnea, you can use them again. If cough becomes intolerable with either one, you can stop that one and use the other for 1-2 days and then try the other. If you could not tolerate both, call your doctor for different brands.

Please see your physician, since these are signs that your asthma is not well controlled. A peak flow or PFT test is recommended. If you are experiencing flu like symptoms, evaluation for COVID and Flu is recommended. Bronchitis is another possible cause of cough. A virtual consult with Healthtap is available.
