No growth spurt: It is not possible to start growing again in your 30s or 40s since your growth plates close in most cases by age 18. Acromegaly, a rare condition due to a growth hormone secreting tumor of the pituitary gland, can cause your facial features to become coarser due to increased facial bone growth and can cause thicker skin but will not result in any increase in height
