Very unlikely: What you are feeling in most likely related to post-nasal drip from your sinuses. It would be almost impossible for gum to be stuck in the throat of an overall healthy adult for several days. If problem does not resolve with in another 1-2 days or worsens than see your doctor for an evaluation to rule out strep throat or some other cause.

Anything's possible: Highly improbable, but should be investigated. There could be other reasons for the sensation of something stuck in your throat. Call your primary care physician. Referral to Ear/Nose/Throat specialist may be in order.

See ENT doctor: From your history it seems like you have a foreign body (chewing gum) which is actually stuck in the back of your throat. See an ENT doctor and do not try to remove an object that you cannot see or is not easy to grasp.
