I've recently swallowed 3 pieces of chewing gum. the night after i swallowed the gum, when sleeping, i felt discomfort in my throat so i started swallowing and i felt chest pain when i swallow. i also feel like something is going up when i swallow?

Hard to know for sure what to make of your symptoms. Usually swallowing gum does not cause any issues whatsoever, and the gum eventually passes through your stool. If your swallowing issues remain persistent, see your primary doctor. Good luck.
