I'm on 50 mg of lamotrigine and i cannot say that i've felt any difference at all. does this mean that chances of 100mg working for me are low?

Not low: 50 mg of lamotrigine is a very low dose. Many of my patients are taking 200mg to 400 (total) per day. I don't think you can say a higher dose won't be helpful.
