A member asked:

How long does it take for lamotrigine to start working for epilepsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

One month: Any seizure medication takes a few weeks to have effect. During this time side effects may develop. After about one month there can be a fair judgement whether benefit is more than side effects. Best dosage may take several months.
