It is...: It is time to call the hematologist, during the work week, and make an appointment to go over test results. Generally, doctors like to go over test results in person, unless there is nothing more to be done. Perhaps in this case, a different study, and additional study, or a follow-up test in the future may be needed. It's time to go see the doctor again.

Is hematologist consult needed for mildly enlarged spleen 13cm on CT? My GI doc said no, it's at upper limit of nml- but it has to say it on report.
Low RBC, iron and Vit D. Platelet and WBC count very high. Severe pain under left ribs. Cant get into a haematologist a month. Should I be concerned?
