How long does it take to get results from a ct scan,i had one two weeks ago and haven't heard anything.

Varies: It is variable depending upon the practice model. Usually the scan is interpreted within 24 hours. Sometimes the interpretation is delayed if they are trying to obtain prior studies for comparison, or if they need an expert second opinion for a particularly complex case. If the report is mailed to the referring doc, there may be a delay. 2 weeks seems too much..maybe call your doc to follow-up
