Ive had pain in my pelvic area on the left side for two weeks. its getting more severe. i had a ct scan last month for another reason and i have an ovarian cyst but its on my right side and free fluid in pelvic region. what is this?

Pelvic pain: What other symptoms prompted the CT scan? Bowel symptoms? Has your gynecologist performed a careful rectopelvic examination? Left sided ruptured ovarian cyst or pelvic inflammatory disorder.are possibilities. Diverticulitis or inflammatory bowel disease of the descending colon are less.likely if you had no bowel symptoms.
