Online and in person: You can find dout a lot about a doctor online and by interviewing. The website www.Certificationmatters.Org is a good start. Each state also licenses doctors and keeps records on credentials. So, the state license website depending on your state. Then there are additional sites such as vitals.Com. Do also ask your primary care doctor who he might go to, but do your homework.

Credentials: Most lasik surgeons provide a free consultation, so consider meeting a few doctors and learn about them, their staff, and of course their technology. Besides their own website, you can learn more from rating websites like yelp and google ratings. You can also check to see if they are board certified. I hope this helps.
