Constipation: Is to be avoided by all means since it may have contributed to the prolapse and it can definitely worsen it. A balanced diet along with proper hydration and physical exercise are critical in the long run. Otherwise the rectal prolapse by itself can cause bleeding and rectal tenesmus.
