2-4 hours: Depending on your size, previous surgeries, amount of skin to be removed, and whether you have had significant weight loss play factors into the time of surgery. You will be asleep, so you wont really know either way. Time for recovery is usually 2-3 days of discomfort and need for assistance, 1-2 weeks at home, light activity for 6 weeks.
