NSAIDS USE: NSAIDS can be very effective for pain but must be monitored and used cyclically. Follow up with her doctor and have labs rechecked. Best to take for 7-10dys then hold 2-3dys. Other options are Celebrex (celecoxib) /tramadol/voltaren gel. Also I Recommend a gluten free diet(WHOLEAPPROACH.Com)

Yes: It is okay to restart the medicine, but she should follow up on her liver enzymes once in a while

Acelofenac: Acelofenac appears to be a NSAID-type drug available only outside States (http://www.drugs.com/international/aceclofenac.html). All NSAIDs are useful for managing pain, inflammation & fever. However, they all irritate stomach & kidneys, potentially heart, too. Whether it's safe or not for your mom is best answered by her prescribing physician.
