Is it possible to have appendicitis with no symptoms? i've felt cramping on my right side but it comes & goes, not at all severe. lower back discomfor

No: It always causes symptoms. Usually the pain is severe enough to bring the patient to the emergency room and is often accompanied by fever, anorexia, nausea and vomiting. Much less commonly the appendicitis may subside on it's own(sub-acute appendicitis).
