Work with doc: If you are pregnant with a history of bipolar, it is vital that you and partner meet right away with your doctor. If closely monitored, it may be possible to hold, change or reduce meds, at least during crucial first 3 months of the pregnancy. But must be monitored and look at risk of episode vs. Risk of meds to baby. Usually good to restart meds one month before due date-episodes can onset fast.
