Priorities: Make it a priority to be seen sooner. Severe toothaches can't wait. The pain may become unbearable in a very short period of time. Pain meds can provide little relief when proper care has not been rendered.

See dentist ASAP: The tooth pain is caused when the nerve root of a tooth or gums are irritated by inflammation. Take some pain medication (NSAID or Tylenol (acetaminophen) OTC) and when your able to see the dentist make sure you do. Toothache won't go away on its own.
