I would repeat now: While the notation of "partially obscuring inflammation" is not abnormal in itself, it suggests that the Pap wasn't perfect .... that some parts were not visible due to inflammation. Many would recommend a repeat Pap in 1 year's time in this situation, and I agree. Since it has been 2 years, ask for a repeat exam now. Good wishes:)
