Bump: In general, a flesh colored bump that hasn't changed in a year is harmless. Obviously, it's hard to evaluate without a picture, but cancer doesn't act like that. Hope this helps.

See the Oral Surgeon: Bottom line is you are concerned about it and should see the Surgeon to have your concerns adequately addressed. These types of presentations are most often nothing to worry about from a health standpoint, but bothersome. May be a traumatic fibroma from pulling / sucking that area with your teeth. Get the diagnosis and discuss your options. Good Luck.
