Second opinion: I suggest you go for a second opinion to an oral surgeon. Your dentist "wasn't worried".. Then what exactly is the lesion? What diagnosis did your dentist make? This needs to be possibly biopsied, especially since you dip. Please call today.

Small bump?: One would need to know what the diagnosis was. You certainly deserve more of an answer than, 'don't worry about it'. If you are concerned, than see an oral surgeon, and find out exactly what it is. Not all bumps require treatment, but suspicious ones do require removal and biopsy for a definitive diagnosis.
