Orthodontics : Your orthodontist will likely place you in rubber bands at some point in your treatment. If you are already seeing an orthodontist, ask them. They will already have a pretty good idea of hey they plan to fix your specific teeth issues.

Probably: But not necessarily at your first visit. Orthodontists (and with a Class III malocclusion you should be seeing a specialist) use elastics to provide the gentle forces require to move teeth. Ask your Orthodontist to take a few minutes to give you a general overview of your anticipated treatment plan.
