What does it mean when my dr. writes on my obstetric history i am a g5 p0002?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Looks odd. Hmmm....: It could mean you're having trouble reading the doctor's writing, or the doctor is waiting for help from you in order to convert some or all of the 3 zeros into other numbers. Usually, the G5 means a woman has gotten pregnant "5" times. The 3 zeros really should be 3 numbers that add up to "5" = number of term pregnancies + preemie pregnancies + aborted pregnancies. The 2 means 2 living children.
