I had carotid surgery two years ago. today i had a dentist apt. and the doctor had difficulty numbing the sight which was the side i had the surgery.

Not related.: As far as I know, there is no relationship between carotid surgery and the ability to numb the tissue in the mouth. Another doc may be aware of some connection between the two, and will hopefully answer if there is one.
