Yes: Those drugs are often used together but be aware that you are subject to side effects such as rapid heart rate, atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias - so always use the smallest effective dose. Also: Coreg (carvedilol) can make asthma worse. Metoprolol might be a better choice for you because it's somewhat selective whereas Coreg (carvedilol) is not, but metoprolol can also make asthma worse in some people.
