See a doctor: I am assuming your Nan has not seen a doctor. This is the first thing you should do. An MRI is part of an overall assessment of a patient. With a good history and physical exam, the diagnosis may be made with that expense. If she has seen a doctor and you are not happy, get a 2nd opinion, so you can get answers.
