My wife is a 57-year-old, her mri shows benign hemangioma the vertebral corpus l1 laterally left with an axial diameter of up to 17 mm without symptoms beside general back pain. should she be worried? can she do pilates and low impact exercises?

Ask your doctor: What you described sounds like a benign condition, and as such should not interfere with the exercises you describe, BUT not knowing anything else about your wife, can only recommend that you check with her own doc for safety.
