Random urine test last week with protein 100mg. today follow up urine was negative for protein, all normal. how can it can go up and then be negative?

Lots of reasons: Protein can appear and disappear in urine samples. It's much more common than you might think. One of the most common reasons in strenuous exercise the day before or day of the urine sample. Hope this helps!
