Unless you have a known diagnosis of Multiple myeloma(do you or not?), I would interpret these tests to be normal right now. Tell us more about your health....in other words why did you have the Urine tested for these light chains?

You have evidence of light chain disease (kappa type light chain). You did not say if you were treated or not in the past 6 months. If you did not get any treatment, your disease is mild and likely the kidney function has improved with just hydration. Whatever, you should continue to follow closely with the doctor who ordered these tests.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, impairment of renal function can explain the increased level of light chains. The Kappa lambda results pre se are not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!
