Toothache: You may have an infection in a tooth which is affecting your sinus cavity. You need to see a dentist ASAP

Referred Tooth Pain: Pain from a tooth can be referred to the temple and the eye depending on the location of the tooth and the reason for the pain. See if your dentist can refer you to a colleague who can see you sooner. If not, ask to be placed on the call list in case an appointment comes available sooner. Unfortunately, untreated tooth pain usually only gets worse as time goes by.

Sinus disease: dental infections can spread to the sinuses. You should see a doctor or dentist right away.

It can happen: Pain can radiate to other areas. It would be wise to push your appointment up to be seen ASAP. An infection will probably not wait.

See a dentist ASAP: This may be Trigeminal neuralgia as you have typical one sided facial pain extending to temple and eye? This may be infected tooth or sinus infection? Proper diagnosis is a key to a successful treatment. See a dentist ASAP!

No: No. Not normal. You can't wait a month. See an oral surgeon or dentist TODAY.

You can't wait: No, the pain is not normal. It's a red flag that your body is waving to alert you that you have a virulent infection, and the infection is spreading, to your eye and surrounding tissues. Waiting even a short time to be seen and treated is harmful. Waiting a month is astonishingly incompetent. Please put down the computer, pick up your phone, and call your Dentist now.
