Yes: Nerve recovery is variable and may occur in one branch of the nerve before another. This is typical and hopefully you will have a full recover soon.

Developed Bell's palsy. Out of the blue, I closed my eye and my upper lip contracts. Is this now Synkinesis or just the nerve being irritated? Thanks
