Viral sinus for weeks. not sick feel great but off and on achie or burning feeling on one side of head. more aggravation than pain , nose hurt &above eyes . dr gave me 20mg prednisone for 5 day twice a day but still there. should dr give another 5?

Would suggest rather a thorough ENT exam in trying to better understand and address their chronicity. Another 5 days might give you some temporary relief, but not a solution in the long range. A firm diagnosis will be needed at this point.
