Above or below: Blood in the stool and pain after eating could be signs of a gastric ulcer, in addition to the colonoscopy, you probably need an EGD (Endoscopic Gastro-Duodenoscopy, camera from above) to rule out a bleeding gastric ulcer. These typically present with stomach pain that is worsened by eating and blood in the stool (usually dark black stools or hidden, occult, blood on lab testing).
