I took clonazepam 1mg yesterday and i have a bottle of 9 month old ativan (lorazepam) which is .5mg. is it okay for me to take some of the ativan (lorazepam)? i ran out of clonazepam and i currently don't have a primary.

The Ativan (lorazepam) is not now prescribed for you, now, so you are self-medicating with a controlled drug. It is unlikely that you will be put in jail for this, but it contributes to a picture that you may not be fully willing to work a doctor with a controlled drug.
