Why is ativan (lorazepam) taken under the tongue but clonazepam and diazepam swallowed. will benzos ultimately work the same whether taken under the tongue?

All work same.: All of them are oral medications. It is not standard practice to put any of them under the tongue. You may have a specific trade named product that says to take under tongue? Maybe your doc gave you this advice?
