Hard to understand?: We all burn calories everyday and those calories are provided by the food we eat.Total calories burnt are our basic metabolic rate plus the colories burnt by activities including exercise If we burn more caories than we get in our food we loose weight and if we burn less calories than we take in we endup gaining weight
