having ct scan with onmipaque & barium of abdomen & pelvis.how long should i wait to get pregnant? will my eggs be damaged? do contrasts stay in body?

The IV: contrast is eliminated primarily by the kidneys via urine, it is essentially gone by 24 hours. The barium is not absorbed by the body, it is eliminated in the stool. You don't have to wait at all to get pregnant. Your body doesn't retain radiation from the scan, when the CT is finished, there is no more radiation.
