Don't : Dont diagnose yourself , if you have problems , seek a professional consult and take your " loved one with you to the appointment . Inost cases of borderline personality disorders , your lived ones know already , you are the one who is last to see and realize.

Don't: If you think your loved one has borderline personality disorder, your labeling it won't help him or her. The label may help you understand some difficult interactions, like unstable times in the relationship, and that all kinds of bad feelings may turn into anger. If you tell a loved one they are borderline, they probably will feel attacked.

Borderline: The hardest thing to maintain with borderline personality disorder are interpersonal boundaries. Boundary violations often occur with people struggling with this disorder and whoever your relative is, you're going to have to work on those boundary issues first and foremost, most notably in terms of safeguarding against being emotionally invaded or manipulated by that person.
