Sounds like you: passed a stone from kidney to bladder. Strain your urine so your doctor can send it for stone analysis. If this is your first episode, you probably don't need any further testing, unless it becomes a recurrent problem. Avoid dehydration and intake of excess calcium.

Passed kidney stone: If the CT showed a stone in the bladder and some mild hydroureter, it shows that there is some mild swelling of the kidney tube. Since most stones in the urinary tract pass from the kidney to the bladder through the ureter, the swelling likely indicates that a stone caused some degree of blockage before getting to the bladder. You may want to see a urologist to get your stone risks evaluated
