Hole in ear drum: I have burst my right ear drum about 5 or 6 times while flying in a plane at 25-30000 feet. Not fun! That said, the only treatment for my burst drum is using hearing aids. It has made a major positive difference to my life. Check with your doctor to see if you really need tymanoplasty.
