Previous unilateral tympanoplasty with occicular repair 14 years ago. pain inside ear when touching the tragus or crus helix also causing itch in throat. have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics. no constant pain. what could be the cause?

Pain: Sounds like TMJ and/or neuritis of auriculotemporal nerve, 2nd division of Cranial nerve V. Abx will not help this. See ENT. Splint (mouthguard) may be indicated. No hard foods for 7-10 days.
