My mother has glaucoma and a couple other vision issues. i have bad vision. aside from the "its just hereditary" is there anything i can do for self?

Vision Prevention: If your have a family history of glaucoma then you need to have an eye exam with testing for the pressure on a regular basis. Glaucoma is the leading cause of blindness in the world and it is preventable! If you have poor vision for other reasons then the eye exam will determine what else will be helpful such as corrective lenses. You must find the cause before it can be treated.
