Sore calves: On recent medicine like cipro/ levaquin (levofloxacin) that causes achilles tendonitis? Recent increase in exercise? Consider achilles tendonitis, gastrocnemius Baker's cyst , electrolyte deficiency especially if you run and drink only water and do not alternate water with electrolyte solutiion like gatorade/ pedialyte, rarely rupture, clot, hematoma. Check potassium, sodium , mg ,Ca . F/U w doc/urgent care
