You are probably experiencing post exercise soreness (which makes it difficult to walk because the muscle is shortened and full of inflammatory chemicals from going beyond the aerobic capacity of the calf muscle). Apply heat, massage the muscle, stretch it gently, and walk more slowly until the length comes back. It will take 2 days to pass.
