Several weeks: Most patients can return to any level of physical activity and nose blowing at7-10 days after surgery. It takes 4-6 weeks for the nasal lining to recover its ability to clean itself so congestion, mucous, and crusting are usually gone at this point. Pain meds for the first week. Temporary headaches for the first 2-3 weeks. For rhinoplasty most bruising and swelling gone 2-3 weeks. Tender 2 mo.
