Fruits have sugar: Everything in moderation. Eating too much fruit is unhealthy. Fruits have sugar (some have lots of it), and sugar is sugar. It's bad to eat too much fruit sugar. Think of fruit as a snack item, a treat. The fiber and water in the fruit is good to have, as well as the vitamins and other nutrients... but not the sugar. Fruit juice also has lots of sugar (it's better to eat fruit than drink juice).
