May be normal: Moving your bowels 5-6 times a day is more than average but not necessarily an sign of illness. If you are feeling healthy and this has been a normal frequency for you and not a recent change, and if you are not having loose, watery stools, abdominal cramping or bloody stools then your likely ok. (Some people with IBS have frequent movements when under stress.)
